Luxury Bathroom Marble Tile in Schertz
This master bathroom in a Schertz home in the Fairways of Live Oak area was a full wall tile installation covering the vanity wall behind dual sinks. The tile is a large-format 24x48 inch white marble-look porcelain with subtle gray veining. At this size, the tile is heavy enough that proper support during installation matters: we set each tile from the bottom up, using temporary ledger boards to prevent slipping before the thinset grabs.
Each tile was back-buttered and set with a large-notch trowel to achieve full coverage. The veining was oriented consistently across the wall by sorting the tiles before installation and mapping out the layout. Grout joints are minimal at 1/16 inch to maintain the slab-like appearance. The gold fixtures were installed by the homeowner's plumber after tile work was complete.

What We Did
