A Local Tile Crew, Built on Straight Work

Based at 1248 FM 78 in Schertz, we install tile for homeowners and businesses across the northeast San Antonio corridor.

What We Do and How We Do It

Schertz Tile Contractor handles the full range of tile installation work: bathroom and shower walls, kitchen backsplashes, living room floors, entryways, patios, and commercial spaces. Our small crew takes on projects of all sizes, from a single accent wall to multi-room floor installations in new construction.

The work starts with the substrate. Before a single tile goes down, the floor or wall surface has to be flat, solid, and properly prepared. We use a moisture barrier in wet areas, cement board or uncoupling membrane where the application calls for it, and thinset appropriate to the tile material and substrate combination. That preparation phase is where most tile failures originate when it is skipped or rushed.

Layout planning comes next. We snap reference lines, dry-lay a test run to check the pattern and identify cut positions at walls and obstacles, then work from the center outward. Grout joint width is set by spacers and confirmed with a straightedge. None of this is visible in the finished product, which is exactly the point.

Who We Serve

Our work covers Schertz, Cibolo, Universal City, and Selma. These are the communities we know well, and where we can show up reliably without long drive times eating into the work day. We occasionally take on projects in adjacent areas of Bexar and Guadalupe County when scheduling allows.

Residential work makes up most of what we do. Bathroom remodels, kitchen updates, and whole-home floor installations are common requests. We also handle commercial tile work for retail spaces, offices, and restaurant floors, where traffic ratings and slip-resistance requirements are part of the material selection process.

How We Approach Each Job

Written Estimates

Every project gets a written estimate before work begins. It breaks down labor and materials so you know exactly what you are agreeing to.

Same Crew Throughout

The people who measure and estimate are the same ones who show up to install. We do not hand off to subcontractors.

Honest Problem Reporting

If we find a substrate issue, a moisture problem, or a condition that needs to be addressed before tile can go in, we tell you before starting rather than working around it.

Realistic Timelines

Tile work has cure times. Thinset needs to set before grout goes in. We build that into the schedule and communicate it clearly rather than rushing to finish faster than the materials allow.
