Modern Bathroom Renovation in Cibolo

This bathroom in a newer Cibolo subdivision home was a finish-out upgrade from the builder's standard package. The homeowner purchased the home with a basic tub surround and wanted a walk-in shower with a modern aesthetic. We removed the tub and surround, adjusted the drain location to the center of the new shower footprint, and rebuilt the space from the substrate up.

The tile is a large-format white marble-look porcelain covering all shower walls and continuing as a feature wall behind the vanity. The black-framed glass enclosure was installed by a separate contractor after tile work was complete. Because the tile runs from the shower through to the vanity wall, maintaining a consistent grout joint and level horizontal coursing across both surfaces required careful planning from the first reference line.
